Describe three ways computers facilitate and enhance learning.

--> Computer enhance learning in varies ways. For example, it can help with homework, teaches of to properly research information, and computers also help you learn how to create presentation or even comic books. Due to the fact that most parents do o understand the new math students are receiving they are unable to help their child, but the computer teaches the student how to get to the correct answer. As for researching information, some libraries can not always provided all the data needed. Therefore, the computer picks up where the library books left off. And then there presentations. These are use a lot in work places if someone is uneducated on what to do the computer explains everything.

How would your life be different without technology? How much do you rely on technology in your life?

--> Life without technology would be so much harder. Everything would be complicated; there would be no computer, no phones, no ipods, etc. Without computers alone, people would have to write letters all the time and everything else. People would have to file items instead of using a computer to store work. Without phones, communication would be limited. Once again letters would have to be written to communicate with others. Basically another would be the same. In my life I rely on technology like I rely on food to live. TECHNOLOGY IS VERY IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE!!!!

--> A future technology I would enjoy building would be a personal robot that cooks what ever you want, whenever you want it. But every food is cooked in a healthy way. This will allow the people who do not know how to cook to eat something other than just fast food. Instead everyone would have a healthy meal everyday.

How do you think the KOR-fx will effect the video game, music or movie experience?

--> I believe the KOR-fx will overall intense Video games, music, and movie experience. Not so much for music experience, but as for games and movies everything will seem even more real. Just imagining watching a scary movie in the dark alone by your self, wearing this device while watching the movie will have you jumping. It'll probably make you feel as if your inside the movie. The same goes for video games

-->I honestly believe school safety is more important than personal rights. Due to the fact that if certain measures aren't meet wit one person danger can arose, effecting everyone else. Yet, personal rights are effect a lot. Security Guards sometime take their jobs to serious when searching pockets. In addition, Guards of the same sex as the student should be the only ones checking the students

-->The price is important simply because there are are always lower prices on the same product somewhere else. There are of course other things about the product that is just as important as the price, if not more important. Things such as the quality of the product and what the product can do. Its always important to know how long the product can last.

· Why is it important to follow the netiquette guidelines when using the Internet?

-->People get on the internet all the time and post information about their selves. Their not noticing that important documents can be stolen. By putting your social security number on random internet sites are ultimately putting yourself in danger.

The Netiquette guidelines are important to follow in order to prevent situations where an identity can be stolen. For this your must stay away from pop-ups. There's also another type of netiquette rule, referring to spell check. After some 1 reads a message from you, with bad grammar or spelling errors, they may look at you uneducated. Another example is putting false information on the internet about your self, just like with spell check people may look at you differently.

Netiquette is very important with the internet. Everything you put on the internet follows you for the rest of your life no matter how much you may have changed in your life. Because people are much influenced by the Internet's information using the Netiquette guideline will help you be safe and hold your image.

--> People rate products based on different qualities. Someone might rate a produce based on looks, while on the other hand another person can rate the same produce based on how good it works. But the way to decide which review are more accurate you can do some research yourself.

I agree 100% with this. New technology is here to stay and that's not changing anytime soon. It silly to think technology is just going to disappear.

The purpose of schools should be to teach students about new technology and learning systems. To ignore the mobile technology aspect that has become such a huge part of society today, is a bad policy.

Outright banning mobile communications is stupid considering the dangers that children face. If a child can make an emergency call in an emergency situation, it can vastly increase the likelihood of a positive outcome. Think about the way criminals have had to change behavior do to the number of everyday citizens that have cell phones. It has created a network of information that has never existed before.TEACHING RESPONSIBLE USE OF A SMART-PHONE SHOULD BE PART OF BASICS EDUCATION!!!!

--> There's a policy against using devices such as smartphones because student tend to be on their phones during classes, listening to music and or texting, instead of listening to the teacher. BUT... I disagree with this policy, not because of texting or music. I disagree because something important could has within a family and cell phones are the only contact. Anything can happen.

-->The most dangerous or risky things people do online falls under putting their social security number on random put up websites, "free wins" . -->The budget cuts will definitely effect the quality of education. Due to the fact that schools in Newark and East Orange do not have many book now cutting money will make everything worst. Now students have enough books for in school but no enough to take home for homework. With money taken away student would be forced to share books with other students in school, classrooms.

--> The iPad the obviously the upgrade of every electronic out there before. The hype is over dose with knowing that it is know possible to have one object that have everything, including music, tv, new, newspaper, book, computer, etc. Anything i can thing of doing on any old object can be done on the iPad with more.

--> It is important 2 do this because it gives you different thoughts on the same subject. --> The benefits to video games in the classroom would be a more fun activity for students. Classwork would be much more exciting for both students and teachers. Yet of course there are downfalls to everything, but i can not think of any for this new method.

I believe Mobile learning is a good technique for this school. Due to low supply students are unable to been home work that was done is class, so instead work is left in school to be finished the next day. With teenagers it only take hours for them to forget what they learned. If students are given mobile learning they would be more able to remember. -->When school in not in session the computer can be use to do homework or research educational subjects for your own knowledge. I believe participating in school over the Internet is a good idea, especially when school is closed. When school is closed student are slowed down on a lot of work which could be done at home on the computer. This helps so that student won't have to make up tons of work wen they return to school. It keeps everything at the same pace.

-->Okay, when in this class now it is half and half, hand and hand. If the teacher helps me, as a student, I well be able to help myself as well. Being in this class now, I have to improve and learn all the steps to what I am suppose to be learning. Everything moves and grow. As the I grow with the world in he future I have more responsibility, I have to do more hings on my own.
